Leading with our values at the forefront this role will be hands on developing the store teams and culture across NSW; building regional strategies to grow and elevate our community, stores and teams everyday. This role is the glue that brings all the magic together - you will not only work directly with the store Head Coaches but will coordinate with the Community Marketing Managers and HQ departments to bring culture and community together in-store.
The day to day
The role responsibilities are broken down into 7 key pillars of the retail business, elements of these include but are not limited to:
Create a Community:
Working closely with the Community Marketing Manager, build a strategic and fun quarterly community plan that drives community growth and brand advocacy in region
Ensure teams are fulfilling on their community strategies by store - including events, gifting, sweat sessions and in-store athlete programs
Develop a Team of Leaders:
Develop a leadership team to be entrepreneurial and own their business - coach and support them in creating strong in-store strategies to elevate performance
Build a talent pipeline that fosters internal growth and role fulfilment
Identify capabilities and potential that align to the right growth opportunities through participation in development opportunities and quarterly performance reviews
Operational Excellence:
Oversees daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives
Ensure the stores are being well-managed daily - this means the store is clean, tidy, priced and has full product offering available on floor
Accountable for inventory accuracy and integrity of your region
Ensures Visual Merchandising Plan is actioned weekly, standards are maintained, and VM is maximised for commercial opportunities
Ensures Head Coaches are adhering to opening and closing duties, and cash discrepancies are investigated and followed up in a timely manner
Responsible for ensuring the roster is completed in time, stays within the employee cost % targets, and maximises the traffic flow
Ensure trading hours and retail calendars are up to date
Product Obsessed:
Ensure your team has the product knowledge (and are an expert yourself!) to educate our community on the core and current product ranges, relevant for their needs
Responsible for owning the full product lifecycle in store from box to community fulfilment
Ensures team completes fit sessions of all core and new products to truly understand the product in-store and is authentically able to educate about it
Ensure storytelling in VM is clear and elevated to showcase clear outfitting and brand themes
Financial Smarts:
Execute weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting atop of delivering weekly reflections and recaps on business performance, strengths and opportunities
Achieve business goals, revenue targets, and manage big budgets - be accountable for these
Analyses P&Ls to look for opportunities to improve business, setting clear actions for improvement or continued success
Manage and optimise employee wages and hours
Develop teams around how to improve their performance through KPI management
New Store Development:
Responsible for ensuring all new stores are executed on time and open successfully
Ensure the teams are recruited and fully trained, on time
Ensure community strategy is in place for pre-seeding the market at least 3 months out
Collaboration and Teamwork:

To set you apart
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a similar field desirable
5+ years of management and leadership experience in multi-store management
Strong background in retail leadership, with a clear passion for building community (community is at the heart of everything we do!)
Proven skills in building a successful team culture
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with CRM systems, and project management tools
Great ability to have crucial conversations and build rapport
Ability to deal with ambiguity and develop appropriate guest solutions that cut through
Evidence of driving growth beyond what appears possible that has the community and employees at the heart of the execution
Understanding and ability to operate within an omnichannel environment
